Contactless card machines are vital for any business looking to accept credit cards from customers. 80% of all retail customers pay with their credit and debit cards and the percentage of card transactions which are contactless is growing fast.  It is therefore important to ensure that all of your card machines are contactless enabled and configured for the new £45 contactless limit.  All of UTP’s card machines come with contactless technology as standard.

When you sign-up for a card machine with UTP we will create a merchant account for you with Barclaycard Payment Acceptance.  The card machine will be pre-configured with details of your merchant account and will enable you to process the full range of Mastercard and Visa credit and debit card types.  All card transactions processed through your merchant account (including contactless transactions) will typically be paid into your chosen bank account within two to three working days.  Funds can be credited to your chosen bank account within hours rather than days if you opt for UTP’s Faster Processing service.

Our contactless countertop card machines are ideal for any type of business, big or small who wish to take credit and debit card payments at the till or sales desk. All standards transaction types including sale, cashback, refunds and gratuities are configurable and all major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express can be processed.

The iCT250 model will be pre-configured for the new £45 contactless transaction limit.

Contactless Portable Card Machines – From £19 Per Month*

Our contactless portable card machines are the ideal way to accept card payments within your premises with a range of up to 100 metres from the Bluetooth base unit. These pocket sized wireless devices are ideal for a pay-at-table environment.

The iWL252 and iWL258 portable card machines can process all major credit and debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express and are able to accept contactless payments up to the new £45 transaction limit. The devices are easy to install – follow the simple instructions to start accepting card payments within minutes!

With our contactless mobile card machines you are able to accept credit card payments on the move. These pocket sized credit card machines are wireless and are easy to carry around. The devices come with a roaming SIM card which means the credit card machine will automatically search for the strongest mobile phone signal anywhere in the UK. These devices can also be configured for pre-authorisations, gratuities and cashback.  The devices are pre-configured for the new £45 contactless transaction limit.
